DeleteI have just finished reading my first book of 2019 The Book Thief by Markus Zusak and my eyes are still brimming. It’s full implication is yet to sink in. It has touched me in a way that only a few books have. The only other books I can think of are To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee and The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. The Book Thief undoubtedly lays its claim to be one of the classics of English Literature. It is not just a piece of fiction but a Human Document of immense value.

After the wholesome The Book Thief wanted to read something lighter. Finished my second book of the year Private Royals a thriller novella by James Patterson. Though the twists were predictable, it was three hours well spent. Hope this one counts...
